These are the projects for 2024-25 and are currently active.  They have been funded under the theme of “Climate Change, Conservation, and Sustainability.”

  1. Co-creating Climate-Smart Regenerative Solutions with Students and Community.  Location: Southern Kathmandu Valley and Panauti.  Organization: Sustainability and Environmental Studies Endeavor (SENSE). Award: $5,166.

 

  1. Eco-Friendly Resilient Social Enterprise for Quality Education and Sustainable Community Development.  Location: Kalikot.  Organization: Karnali Resilient Initiative Nepal (KRIN).  Award: $5,970.

 

  1. Project: Empowering Futures: High-Altitude Project for Disabled Children in Dolpo.  Location: Dolpo. Organization: EcoHimal.  Award: $5,000.

 

  1. Project: Eco-Friendly Greenhouse: Enhancing Education, Sustainability, and Nutrition at Shree Shanti Secondary School.  Location: Lamjung.  Organization: Shree Shanti Secondary School. Award: $5,598.

 

  1. Project: Empowering Rural Women to Achieve Sustainable Conservation of Red Pandas.  Location: Khotang.  Organization: Red Panda Network.  Award: $5,000.

 

  1. Project: Promoting Moringa Farming and Initiatives.  Location: Saptari.  Organization: Biodiversity Conservation Center Nepal (BCCN).  Award: $5,000.

  1. Empowering Marginalized Communities for Engagement to Build Climate Change Resilience.  Location:   Raksirang and Manahari Rural Muncipalities.  Organization: HimRights.  Award: $6,200.  Organization: EcoHimal.  Award: $5,000.

 

  1. Young Women’s Organic Farming: Skill Development and Agricultural Education. Location:  Dhading.  Organization: Himalayan Healthcare.  Award: $6,900.

 

  1. Chiwang Gumba Sustainable Greenhouse, Organic Food Production, and Climate Resilience.  Location: Phaplu, Solu.  Organization: EcoHimal.  Award: $5,000.

 

  1. Community-Led Environment Action for Nature.  Location: Kailali. Organization: Community Based Organizational Development Center (CBODC).   Award: $6,900.

  1. Model Composting Toilet at Crystal Mountain School.  Location: Dho, Dolpo.  Organization: Vision Dolpo.  

 

  1. Organic Macadamia Seedling Nurseries.  Location: Sankhuwasabha.  Organization: Society Development Center (SODEC).  

 

  1. Small-Scale Composting Training and Facilitation Program.  Location: Panchthar.  Organization: Nepal Tea Foundation. 

 

  1. Paani for All. Location: Nyabazar, Kathmandu.  Organization: Hands in Outreach.
